Under the executive leadership of Jaspreet Singh Dhaliwal, Founder and President of the Boccia Sports Federation of India (BSFI), India is executing its most comprehensive continental preparation program ahead of the 2026 Asian Para Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
Strategic Roadmap & High-Performance Mandate
- Continental Qualification & Seeding: Following landmark international podiums in Manama (Bahrain), Cairo (Egypt), and Pilsen (Czech Republic), alongside Asian Para Games selection trials in Astana (Kazakhstan), BSFI has established a meritocratic national selection pipeline across BC1, BC2, BC3, and BC4 classifications.
- Indigenous Assistive Technology Deployment: Integration of the indigenous BC3 Boccia Assistive Ramp—developed through the historic Memorandum of Agreement between BSFI, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), and IIT Madras—into elite national camp preparation.
- World Boccia Technical Compliance: International refereeing standards, sport-class medical classification verification, and psychological conditioning overseen directly by certified World Boccia technical officials.
