When Jaspreet Singh Dhaliwal founded the Boccia Sports Federation of India (BSFI) in 2015—headquartered in Bathinda, Punjab with a corporate office in Connaught Circus, New Delhi—athletes with severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and high-level spinal cord injuries had virtually no competitive sporting pathway in India.
